Who can apply, what to submit and when
The Research and National Registry Committee oversees these pathways and reviews applications against published criteria. The following is a process summary; full details accompany the application form.
Who can apply
Researchers at academic and healthcare organisations in Saudi Arabia, and international teams with a local partner, may apply. Society membership is not required, but the project must have a qualified principal investigator and ethics approval from their institution.
What the Society provides
- Managed access to registry data within the privacy policy.
- Introductions to participating centres and facilitated communication.
- Scientific review before a proposal is submitted to funders.
- A platform for presenting results through the annual conference and Society publications.
How to apply
Send an introductory message through the Contact page with the project title, research question, organisation and principal investigator. The Secretariat will provide the full form and approval requirements, then submit the application to the committee at its next meeting.
Application review schedule
The committee reviews applications at its regular meetings and notifies applicants in writing. Requests involving the national registry take longer because they undergo an additional privacy review.
